Society is an ugly thing. Don’t try fitting in because really, all you do is copy all these things from people and you might not really enjoy it. Be yourself. It takes tons of pressure off because you’re not fixed to be like everyone else. remember, you’re an individual who has lots to give. Don’t let anyone tell you other wise. If someone doesn’t like you being you, they obviously don’t deserve to be in your life. Go out and find people who like you for you. Not for what you have become or for the clothes you were. YOU.
Now i’m not saying to ignore EVERYTHING. Just the insults and other hurtful things. And not only from others, but from yourself too. Don’t bring yourself down with “oh my gosh i’m so fat today.” or “oh wow how did you get that wrong? You’re so stupid.” and remember, many of the hurtful things said can be played off as “jokes” and you may just be getting hurt from them and not even know. Try and compliment yourself every once in a while. even if its a few times a day, it can really make a difference.
If you realize that you’re unhappy with something about yourself that you can change, then start today. If it’s something you can’t change (like your height), then start to work toward loving yourself the way you are.

Accept that you will make mistakes because everyone does. Mistakes are part of learning. Remind yourself that a person’s talents are constantly developing, and everyone excels at different things — it’s what makes people interesting.

people become paralyzed by perfection. Instead of holding yourself back with thoughts like, “I won’t audition for the play until I lose 10 pounds,” think about what you’re good at and what you enjoy, and go for it.
